Lucy’s background in International Relations and Political Science, paired with her experience working for the Waitangi National Trust has fostered a focus on New Zealand culture in the world. A mind-set she brings to her role at Mahuki – Te Papa’s Innovation Hub.

Lucy has been involved in visual and performing arts for the last 15 years undertaking 13 years operatic vocal training alongside speech and drama, ballet and piano. In 2014 at age 17 she coordinated and produced her own debut opera recital in the Bay of Islands. This experience sparked an interest in event production and has heightened her interest in the vast cultural sector. This was further reinforced by her involvement in the visual arts where her work has been exhibited in galleries in the Bay of Islands.
