Wellington Screen Edge Forum - GLAMming up storytelling

Friday, May 18, 2018 - 09:00 to 10:00

On 18th May, our Activation Manager, Priscilla Loong, will be speaking about the evolution and importance of storytelling in the Culture and Heritage sector - and the vital role that Mahuki plays in this space. If you're a storyteller interested in the programme, come along! Tickets are available through Doc Edge.

A highlight of every Doc Edge festival is our annual Screen Edge Forum. The Screen Edge Forum is an industry-specific event that serves as an important networking opportunity connecting documentary filmmakers with funding agencies, distributors, decision makers and creative collaborators.

The Screen Edge Forum is a unique opportunity to hear from local and international experts addressing the latest trends and issues confronting the local and international screen industry.

The 2018 Wellington Forum will focus on interactive and immersive storytelling, whilst the Auckland Forum will also incorporate Doc Pitch and an Impact Producing Masterclass.

Highlighted international guests include Diane Weyermann (Participant Media), Peter Gerard (former Vimeo GM), Liz Stevens (Screen Australia) and Alicia Smith (National Film Board of Canada)

Registration is open to the public with special discounted rates available for NZ screen industry guild members.
